Partner, Head of Data Protection and CEO of ProDPO, James Castro-Edwards, has commented for The Times on the class action law suit filed against Facebook and Cambridge Analytica in the US, amidst rumours that a similar group claim is to be filed in the UK.
James commented that, “the tort misuse of personal information has emerged as a means by which individuals may claim compensation from organisations that use their personal data in a manner that cause them distress.”
