Susan Fritsche

Expertise

Susan specialises in all aspects of property related disputes, both residential and commercial, with particular emphasis in housing matters including possession and disrepair claims. Susan also has considerable technical experience in residential long lease disputes and breach of covenant claims and assists in the recovery of service charge arrears. She also advises a number of commercial clients on business and residential lease renewals, self-help claims including distress for rent and forfeiture by re-entry and has experience in dealing with consent applications.

Recent Experience

• Acting for private landlords in possession proceedings following the tenant’s breach or expiry of the tenancy agreement.
• Issuing and defending court proceedings and advising on each step of the proceedings to the conclusion or settlement of claims.
• Providing an effective debt recovery service.

Career History

Susan qualified as a solicitor in 1999.  She has worked at Cumberland Ellis for over 25 years having previously qualified as a legal executive in 1997.  She joined Wedlake Bell LLP from Cumberland Ellis when the firms merged in April 2012.  Susan is a member of the Property Litigation Association.  She is currently studying to become a Notary Public.
